Well, the end of an era.

Gwenn was my first character here. She's changed a lot from what she was. I'm really going to miss the pretty little snobby thing that she is.

I'll be honest, I've been on the edge of dropping her since, like, June. She had Avery and that was literally the only reason I kept her this long.

Now I'm, like, totally out of reasons. She's not at Hogwarts so there's no way she can be involved. It's pointless. One of the reasons I wanted my new girl so badly was because Gwenn and Zoey are completely uninvolved and plotless.

So, yes, that is all. The end of Gwenndalyne.

My sister read my book (the younger one not the older one) and she says I don't write real literature.

Okay, I'll admit, I could be writing something that's going to change someone's life. That's really what I want to do.

Maybe I'm a sell out, but I can make money writing what I'm writing and I don't really want to live off my parents forever even if I've got that trust fund already....

I was walking in the airport this morning (Still not getting why I have to fly like a Muggle, but whatev. I'm starting to almost sorta kinda get used to it) and I saw the strangest thing.

Someone. Had. My. Book!
Like, she was reading it waiting on the plane and even when we were on it. And she kept giggling every now and then.

OMG. People actually have my book.
And Avery loves me

I've maybe never had a better week in my life.

Life. Is. Fabulous.

There's less than a week now until Foreign Affairs is out. There's a lot of hype about it with my editor. Apparently they think it's going to do really well (this kind of book is really 'hot' right now).

I'm more excited now, than nervous I think. I think it was just getting back in New York that did it.

I'm sad that I probably won't be back home for a while. I mean, it's not like there's any real reason for me to come home right now anyway.

I think my place is haunted. Either that or my maid has a cruel sense of humor.

Gwenn had only been back for about half an hour. Getting out of the airport was always such an ordeal. She hated the airports nearly as much as she hated the airplanes themselves.

When she walked out, Gwenn managed to find the car her uncle had sent for her. Sitting inside, she just stared out the window as they drove. This was insanity. She'd said it, thought it, too many times since she'd heard about everything.

When the car finally stopped at MacMahon Manor, she stared at the house. It was nice, it was safe. She'd probably be safe either way, but with random murders starting again...you never knew, did you? Instead of spending too much time there, she only went in and put Keely down in the sitting room. Luckily, the only house elf they had, Iz, heard her and came rushing in asking if there was anything she could do for "Miss Gwenndalyne."

Putting on her most friendly smile, she sent the little creature to tell her aunt to watch the puppy and then she was gone. Gwenn wanted to see one person more than anything at the moment. Bag still in hand, she apparated right in front of Avery's (and Andy's, apparently) flat and knocked with a little more urgency than was necessary.

Book's finished. It's going to print any day now. The release date is somewhere around mid-September. I'm really excited about it! I'm already starting on my next one. It might be a sequel (if this one sells well enough). I kind of wish I could just write whatever I want, but I guess it doesn't really work that way.

So what's up back home?

The first weekend in New York was pretty brilliant. I went out with a few of my neighbors. I like them. They're very catty girls, but they at least pretend to like me enough.

Which I think has more to do with them wanting to borrow my clothes.

No matter. I've got a meeting with my editor in the morning. There are some things he wants to change with Foreign Affairs. I'm not very fond of the title, but everyone else seems to like it.

I think I'm coming back next weekend. Maybe. This place is just too big for only me and Keely.

I have to leave for New York Friday morning because Chrissy forgot her timeline. Which puts me there at.... sometime their time on Thursday, I think. I don't like stupid time differences.

Gwenn was excited to see this place that Avery was moving into. She already had a picture of what she thought it may look like in her head, but she wanted to see if she was even close.

Realizing what time it was, Gwenn stopped packing for New York and rummaged what was left in her closet to find something less dusty. She always seemed to put more effort (which is saying a lot) into her appearance when she was around boys she liked.

Gwenn retied the bow in the back of her dress before she apparated as close to Avery's (well, his parents' place was probably a more appropriate title) as she could and walked the rest of the way there. Really, she wasn't sure if it was even the right place, but she hoped so as she waited for someone to let her in.

You all know you want to be here! Unless you all have something better to do.....but no body seems to talk like they do. ;)

So! MacMahon manor, Wales. Be here. Whenever you want to be. Bring anything/anyone you feel like!

It really didn't take much to set up parties anymore. Once you had everything, it was a few quick little flicks of your wand and bam! All done!

Gwenn was sort of sad that she didn't have to do all the fun decorating anymore.

No matter, she just wanted to have a party and she wanted everyone to have a good time.

She was stretched out on a towel by the pool when she heard people start to arrive inside.

I'm having a party!

On Friday the 13th.

It's a sort of like a last goodbye, maybe.

I expect everyone to be here and to have the best time of the summer! (Or at least a top 10 moment xD)

I really think I just walked out of my glory years. But we've all got great things coming up....I know it. We'll be okay.

Took my last exam today. Never again do I have to do something school related.

Well, I have rounds to make, but it's exam week, no one's really doing anything trouble-causing.

And I feel like I should just see a lot of things one last time & say goodbye to so many people.

...But I hate the sound that goodbyes make. No one say "goodbye" to me. I'm scratching the word from my vocabulary.

I want ALL THE 7TH YEARS to give me a quote! Something that sums up their time at Hogwarts or their outlook on life or....anything! It can be something they said themselves, something a friend said, or something from a favorite movie/song/what-the-hell-ever.
Don't give me a whole song or quoted scene please. About 6 lines is as long as I'll take it (that's talking lyrics and such, generally). As for how short can it be...One word would be fine. Just something your character would want as one last thing said at the end.

If...current plots make it really shitty to come up with something, then well..say they did this in March or something.
